MyCampingShirt.com (the "Site") is operated by MyCampingShirt ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, place an order, sign up for our emails, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Service"), and how we use, share, and protect that information.

This policy applies alongside our Terms of Service.

2 · Information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Order information · Name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, and payment information (processed and stored by our payment processor, not by us).
• Account information · If you create an account, the credentials you choose and any profile details you add.
• Custom-order information · For special orders, the details you share about your event, organization, garment preferences, artwork, and approvals.
• Communications · Emails, chat messages, and any other communications you send us.
• Newsletter and Camp Club signup · Email address (and optionally name) when you join.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data · IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies · See Section 5.

Information from third parties

• Payment processors · Confirmation of payment, transaction IDs, and limited card metadata (e.g. last four digits, brand, expiration).
• Print providers and shippers · Order status, tracking information.
• Marketing platforms · If you interact with our ads or content on platforms like Meta, TikTok, or Google, those platforms may share limited information with us about that interaction.

3 · How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your orders, including custom and special orders.
• Send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, customer service replies).
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and Service.
• Send marketing emails and texts if you've opted in (you can opt out anytime — see Section 6).
• Personalize the content you see and recommend products you may like.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4 · Who we share it with

We share information with a limited set of trusted parties so we can run the Service:

• Payment processors (e.g. Stripe) to process payments.
• Print providers and fulfillment partners (e.g. Printify and contracted print houses) to manufacture and ship your order.
• Shipping carriers (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx) to deliver your order.
• Email and SMS service providers (e.g. Postmark, Twilio) to send transactional and marketing messages.
• Analytics and advertising providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Meta, TikTok) to measure and improve the Site.
• Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) when needed.
• Government agencies and law enforcement when required by valid legal process.
• A buyer or successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not authorize our service providers to use your data for their own marketing.

5 · Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, SDKs) to keep you signed in, remember items in your cart, measure how the Site is used, and personalize content. Categories include:

• Strictly necessary · cart, login session, fraud prevention.
• Functional · preferences, recently viewed items.
• Analytics · how visitors find and use the Site.
• Marketing · to show you relevant ads on and off the Site.

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may break parts of the Site.

6 · Marketing emails and SMS

If you opt in (for example by signing up for the Camp Club or checking a marketing-consent box at checkout), we may send promotional emails about new drops, partner offers, and Camp Club news. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

If you opt in to SMS, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe and HELP for help. We won't text you unless you've affirmatively opted in.

7 · How long we keep data

We keep order, account, and tax-related records for as long as needed to fulfill our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations (typically 7 years). Marketing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregated or deleted on a rolling schedule (typically 14–26 months).

8 · Your rights and choices

You can:

• Access or correct your account information by logging in or emailing us.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time (link at the bottom of every message).
• Opt out of SMS marketing by replying STOP.
• Ask us to delete your personal information (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Opt out of certain cookies through your browser settings.

9 · California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights, including the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share.
• Request a copy of your personal information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. If you want to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, email wendy@mycampingshirt.com with the subject "Do Not Share" and the email address tied to your activity.

10 · EU and UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, and restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our legal bases for processing are: (a) performance of a contract (e.g. fulfilling your order); (b) compliance with a legal obligation; (c) our legitimate interests (e.g. fraud prevention, analytics); and (d) your consent (e.g. marketing emails and non-essential cookies).

11 · Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

12 · Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards — including TLS encryption, restricted admin access, and a least-privilege approach to data handling — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

13 · International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed in the U.S. and in countries where our service providers operate. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

14 · Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at this URL with the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email when feasible. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
